DoubleDutch is looking for a part-time CTO/Technical Co-founder to help build the company’s products.
Our mission is to "reinvent life insurance" by building a truly decentralized, open, and fully transparent life insurance solution using a combination of smartphone apps, fitness trackers, blockchain technology, stable coins, and AI (Artificial Intelligence). Once complete, DoubleDutch will sell life insurance policies to consumers and allow individual investors to invest stable coins into asset pools filled with life insurance policies (like mortgage-backed securities), in exchange for an APY. The stable coins will provide much needed liquidity to demonstrate our ability to pay out claims. Policies will be sold to individuals who demonstrate their commitment to physical fitness by allowing us to track their steps, distance traveled, heart rate, calories burned etc... in exchange for rewards. Rewards will be paid in our native token and companies will purchase our token to run sponsored activities. Consumers will own their own data and will profit from it. We will use AI to build tailored fitness plans for our users in addition to using AI to increase operational efficiencies. All of this will be implemented in a phased approach that has been well thought out.
DoubleDutch is seeking a visionary CTO/Technical Co-Founder whose mission will be to build our products and participate in all technology related growth initiatives.
As one of the founding team-members, you will be the technology leader within DoubleDutch, responsible for designing and developing the software that powers all the solutions. You will work alongside the leadership team to identify and implement the product features. You will also be responsible for driving and executing the engineering roadmap.
The position starts as a part-time gig and is 100% equity based. You will join the team to help raise capital for the company’s new health and wellness solution integrated with Polkadot. Once funded, you will be a paid member of the team.
Azure DevOps - source code management
The CEO is a developer. He has built an iOS and Android app (MVP) using Asp.net Maui. The apps are integrated with Apple HealthKit and GoogleFit respectively. He's also built a DeFi application (MVP), in Blazor Web Assembly with an ASP.net backend, running on Azure SQL. The DeFi app is using MetaMask to sign blockchain transactions on Moonbeam's Moonbase Alpha Network. Several smart contracts (MVP), written in Solidity, manage the native token, investing functionality, and policy management.
Phase 1 of the plan entails reselling life insurance using an iOS and Android app. The immediate need is for an iOS and Android developer to either commercialize the existing mobile applications or start from scratch. The ASP.net backend contains API's for all the mobile application functions. We would also need a way to resell / originate life insurance policies using the mobile apps.
